“ANIMAL” is a short film produced by 1226 Pictures and Un Gato Andaluz, directed by Dani Zarandieta and starring Verónica Espiga, Teresa Arbolí, and Ana Otero.
Dani Zarandieta
Dani Zarandieta (b. 1980, Seville) left Physics studies to pursue Audiovisual Communication, graduating in 2004 while making short films. After work at Antena 3, he moved to New York in 2010, earning a Film Directing master’s at NYFA and screening award-winning shorts at festivals including Cannes. His debut feature Encontrados en NYC premiered at the Seville European Film Festival and won at Manhattan Film Festival. He later edited for Lifetime (Stealing Chanel), directed theater in Los Angeles, and won the Agripina Award in Spain. He currently balances editing, commercial direction, and teaching in Seville.
