Spanish Filmmakers NYC — Guidelines for Participation & Branding
We’re excited to create a supportive community that highlights Spanish filmmakers in New York City. To keep everything clear and fair, here are some simple guidelines for participation:
1. Eligibility
Open to filmmakers of Spanish nationality or heritage.
Participants should be actively working on or developing short films (under 30 minutes) connected to New York City.
Projects ideally touch on artistic, cultural, or socially relevant themes that reflect Spanish identity or presence in NYC.
2. Brand Usage
By joining, filmmakers are happy to have their name, image, and film titles shared under the Spanish Filmmakers NYC banner for promotional purposes (digital and print).
All materials will be presented with care, maintaining artistic integrity and proper credit.
3. Representation
Selected filmmakers will be featured on the official Spanish Filmmakers NYC roster, helping with outreach, showcases, and sponsorship opportunities.
Participants may occasionally be invited to take part in promotional materials, interviews, or festival campaigns.
4. Content Ownership
Your work is yours — all films, scripts, and materials remain your full property.
Any materials used for promotion will only be shared with your prior written consent.
5. Code of Conduct
We ask everyone to engage respectfully, uphold ethical standards, and foster an inclusive, supportive community.
6. Withdrawal
If at any point you prefer not to participate, you can simply let us know in writing.
